SCRAP & RECYCLING

arun technology & scrap & recycling

The scrap and recycling industries process large quantities of incoming metal parts, and require testing methods that allow them to efficiently sort these materials.ARUN Technology offers handheld solutions for rapid inspection and Positive Materials Identification, enabling efficient but accurate sorting of large quantities of materials. X-Ray Fluorescence Technology offers grade identification within 5 seconds, and is a non-destructive method which can also be used later in the recycling process to check the content of processed materials. Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy allows light element detection for a more detailed analysis, including the measurement of carbon in steels.Discover the HELIUS handheld XRF and CALIBUS LIBS instruments below.

helius (xrf)

HELIUS is the first in the series of ARUN’s XRF handheld spectrometers. Using X-ray fluorescence analysis technology, this mid-size instrument analyses products of various materials quickly, reliably, and non-destructively. Weighing 1.51 Kg; this is the lightest amongst other devices in the market.

The HELIUS XRF series of metal analysers are a good choice for analysis in many fields; delivering rapid and accurate results right in the palm of your hand. Due to the advanced electronics and state-of-the-art mathematical algorithms, the HELIUS XRF instruments provide ultimate quality of measurement within a couple of seconds.

CALIBUS (LIBS)

The CALIBUS is our laser-induced breakdown spectrometer (LIBS). It is the first and only CMOS-based LIBS analyser in the market to measure carbon in ferrous. The new CALIBUS is an ideal analytical solution for QA/QC, metallurgical manufacturing and machining, petrochemical industries, mining, scrap metal and recycling.
