CCS Services SA is happy to announce that they have made a further investment in building up its Sales and Marketing capability in CIS markets. During summer 2009 they have finalized the registration of their new subsidiary “CCS Services Central Asia”. The company became fully operational as of 1st of September 2009. The new subsidiary’s office is located in Almaty, the economic capital of The Republic of Kazakhstan. The company will be leading Sales and Marketing activities for all of its product divisions (subject to the distribution agreements with CCS manufacturing partners) for the whole territory of Former Soviet Union Central Asia republics including not only Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, but also in Turkmenistan, Kirgizstan and Tadjikistan.
Vasilij Makeev has been appointed General Manager of the new subsidiary. Vasilij has strong marketing and organization building experiences that have been fortified during his seven years of successful work with the CCS organization.

This development will further enhance CCS presence in these markets, where they have already been conducting diverse marketing activities. Only during this current year they have participated in five major trade shows in the region. Moreover, the new set up will enhance application, orders logistics and technical support for its existing customers in Central Asia. Being each relatively (to Russian Federation) small economies, these markets have nevertheless demonstrated a non-negligible potential not only in Mining and Metals, but also governmental segments in which Metal Analysis, Microwave Chemistry and Vacuum Technology products from CCS (in the government accounts market) are having substantial growth potential.
