Arun Technology continues association with Benetton Formula Limited

Arun Technology is pleased to announce that the long standing association with Benetton Formula Limited has been extended during the 2001 Grand Prix Championship year.

As an official supplier to Mild Seven of Benetton Formula 1 Racing Team Arun Technology provides metal analysis equipment vital to the Technical Centre in Oxfordshire, where the cars are designed and built.

Formula 1 Racing is at the cutting edge of technological development in many fields and metals are one of the most important of these. Many different types of metals and alloys are used in the car design and the quality control of the materials supplied to the Technical Centre, the stock control and traceability of the material, plus its subsequent usage in machined or worked components is monitored by Arun Metalscan products.

Arun Technology is in the forefront of the development and manufacture of optical emission spectrometers for metals analysis using the latest technology of solid state, charge coupled devices. Instruments can either by portable units for use in warehouses, stockyards or remote locations, giving grade identification or positive material identification (PMI) or static laboratory based units for high performance elemental analysis.
